Scholarships

All current Investigator College students, and any students intending to commence study at Investigator College in the forthcoming year may apply for a Scholarship.

Scholarships are available for students as they commence Year 5, with opportunities available in each year level until the completion of Secondary schooling.

Our range of Scholarship Opportunities is divided into two groups.

• One group of Scholarship Opportunities are available only to new students, and may only be applied for by students who are not yet enrolled at Investigator College (Scholarships for New Students).
• One group of Scholarship Opportunities is available only to students who are currently enrolled at Investigator College, and who will be continuing their studies at the College in the forthcoming year. (Scholarships for Current Students)

Applications for each group of Scholarship Opportunities open and close at different points throughout the school year.

An equal number of Scholarship Opportunities are available in each group.

Applications for scholarship at Investigator College are managed through an online application process, with clear opening and closing dates.

All Scholarship Applications must be submitted through our Online Application System, and must be received no later than 5:00pm on the advertised closing date.

Each individual scholarship offered by Investigator College is governed by specific Selection Criteria, which must be addressed by applicants in their application.

Selection Criteria may include (but are not limited to):

• Evidence of excellence or effort in academic performance;
• Evidence of excellence or effort in extra-curricular activities;
• References and endorsements from key figures related to the nature of the scholarship;
• Answers provided by the candidate in the form of written or verbal statements;
• Results of specific academic testing;
• Assessments of character, capability and/or potential based on information and supporting documents provided throughout the application process.

Applications for each Scholarship offered are evaluated against the relevant selection criteria to create a shortlist of candidates, who will then be invited to attend an interview at the College, with members of our Senior Leadership Team.

Determinations of successful applicants will be made following  interviews, with advice of the outcome being provided to all applicants (both successful and unsuccessful) at the conclusion of the process.
